Um pouco da hist\u00f3ria:<\/b>
\nCartoon \u00e9 um banda brasileira de rock progressivo, que surgiu em Minas Gerais em 1995 e \u00e9 considerada por alguns especialistas no estilo um dos principais nomes do rock progressivo mineiro e brasileiro. J\u00e1 fizeram shows em festivais internacionais como o Canadian Music Week e o Canadian Music Fest (Canad\u00e1), Youbloom (Irlanda), Youbloom LA (Estados Unidos), BAFIM (Argentina) e MIDEM (Fran\u00e7a).<\/p>\n

O nome da banda veio no in\u00edcio dos anos 1990, quando a palavra n\u00e3o era popular no Brasil, fruto da paix\u00e3o dos membros por desenhos animados – segundo o vocalista Khykho Capanema, muitas das can\u00e7\u00f5es do grupo “s\u00e3o como desenhos animados, onde tudo pode acontecer.”<\/p>\n

O primeiro CD, Martelo, foi lan\u00e7ado em 1999. O segundo CD, lan\u00e7ado em 2002, foi intitulado Bigorna. Em 2008 banda lan\u00e7ou o terceiro disco, Estribo. Em 2009 a banda participou do \u00e1lbum Hubris I & II, lan\u00e7ado pelo m\u00fasico conterr\u00e2neo Andreas Kisser, da banda Sepultura. O quarto CD, Unbeatable, lan\u00e7ado em 2013, \u00e9 influenciado pelo rock dos anos 1970.<\/p>\n

Ainda em 2013, a banda foi uma das cinco finalistas do reality show Breakout Brasil, da Sony Spin, sendo selecionados entre outras 2200 bandas.<\/p>\n
